An intimate story in search of the tomb of ancient Egypt's most
beautiful woman told through an inventive meld of history, performance
and song. From an English country castle, where the quest began, to the
heat of Luxor, where dreams of a dig were realised, this film is a
personal impression of one man in pursuit of the find of his life.
Interviews and eye-witness material from four seasons in the Valley of
the Kings are threaded with cabaret interludes from Sue Casson and the
Brannick Academy. ‘Bold… slightly mad, with a creative brio that is very
infectious’ (Storyville).
