Swing Gum
Martin’s Tap Dance Company
Swing Gum recounts the extraordinary true love story of American soldier KT Robbins and French villager Jeannine Ganaye, who fell for one another in wartime Meurthe-et-Moselle in 1944 before being separated by deployment. Seventy-five years later, they were reunited in an emotional television broadcast: a tale of love divided by war yet never forgotten. Making its UK debut at the Fringe, this vibrant musical is brought to life by Martin’s Tap Dance Company, blending tap, body percussion, swing, Lindy hop, jive and archival footage. A humorous, heartfelt celebration of enduring connection from one of Europe’s leading tap ensembles.
