A solo performance, a raw cry against the brutality of our times. With indignant voices rising one after another, fragmented movements evolve into a ritual of against helplessness. A polyphonic song from the Lithuanian resistance, The Brothers of the Forest, fills the air. Collective voices amplify the individual power of the dancer, who stands steadfast, unfurling with relentless determination and strength. Unexpected and thought-provoking, Vilma Pitrinaite's (LT/BE) work features fearless movement and an intensely charged, hopeful electronic music soundscape.
