A contemporary response to J G Ballard’s blistering dystopian novel High
Rise. A totally compelling and heartbreaking distillation of young
people’s fury about the state of the world they have inherited and the
rapidly escalating housing crisis. Award-winning artists Nigel Barrett
and Louise Mari were invited by Arts University Bournemouth to devise a
show with final year acting students. The University responded to the
strict Covid restrictions by commissioning a series of artists to make
digital work with their students that was innovative and original and
could not be experienced any other way. Recorded live from the UK,
Croatia and India.
