Cyn

Wales, 1995. It’s been 10 years since the mine closed and the village is still bleeding. A solitary pub remains with one patron inside, Emyr. Bitter about the past and indifferent to the future, Emyr’s life changes at the unwelcomed visit of Simon, a wealthy Englishman. Over the next hour the audience are invited to sing, laugh and cry along with Emyr and Simon as their differences are put under the microscope and their stereotypes put to the test. In this bittersweet drama, we look back at the miners' strike and ask the question: where did the heart go?
