Trapped in a bleak, cold, featureless room utterly devoid of natural light, A is a young woman teetering on the brink of collapse. Perpetually torn between hatred of her surroundings and abject terror of ‘the world outside’, any chance of escape or salvation seems to be beyond her grasp. With nothing to occupy her racing mind, she whiles away the hours reliving the mishaps, setbacks and agonies of her past.
