Edinburgh’s community opera, Aria Alba, presents the classic double bill Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci. This intimate chamber performance features expert orchestral players from Scotland and beyond. International guest singers join Aria Alba’s ensemble to tell the stories of two women navigating love, betrayal, abuse and excitement. Performed in the round, audiences get up close to the drama, experiencing the intensity and immediacy of opera.
