Sacred Arts Festival Music at Old Saint Paul’s – Art Songs and Lieder on Sacred Themes

Emma Morwood, soprano and Ingrid Sawers, piano. Samuel Barber, Hermit Songs; Schubert, Litanei; Howells, King David; Strauss, Morgen and Allerseelen; Rachmaninov; Two Sacred Songs. Emma Morwood’s recent concert highlights include appearances as a soloist with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Edinburgh Royal Choral Union. Ingrid Sawers is equally at home in instrumental and vocal repertoire. She has performed at numerous venues throughout the UK, Europe and Canada and broadcast live on BBC radio arts channels.
